ACME Lithium uses ASTERRA satellite technology to locate samples with high lithium values.
ASTERRA and ACME Lithium, Inc. (ACME) have jointly announced their collaborative agreement and collaboration in which ASTERRA’s satellite-based technology will be used to discover the highest value lithium discovery to date in Fish Lake Valley, Nevada.
The use of ASTERRA technology has yielded numerous locations with lithium values in excess of 100 parts per million (ppm) that have not been detected by conventional exploration methods. This is done without damaging the environment.
In a press release last week, ACME said their recent geological field review and sampling program resulted in the highest surface lithium value to date at 1325 ppm. These values are at coordinates precisely positioned by ASTERRA satellite technology and results confirmed by an independent laboratory.
Ellie PeretzASTERRA CEO stated:
Due to high demand and an urgent need to find as much economic grade lithium as possible, use ASTERRA to discover lithium.
“When using satellites for mineral exploration, it is time and cost efficient. Improved exploration methods through regional targeting can reduce the ecological footprint.”
Perets added, “Using ASTERRA technology in partnership with ACME could achieve unprecedented efficiencies in the costly activity of identifying lithium targets and deposits.” As Fortune magazine recently pointed out, experts agree with Elon Musk that it is far Not enough.
steve hensonACME President and CEO said:
Collaboration and initial case studies with technology leader ASTERRA confirmed the property’s historical and emerging lithium presence, and certain areas are lithium rich.
“We are excited to advance the work in progress on multiple projects.”
ASTERRA’s artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms extract signals of subsurface lithium concentrations from satellite-based PolSAR data and pinpoint locations with high lithium concentrations. The technology offers ACME a way to find lithium before investing in costly exploration that could lead to environmental damage and civil conflict.
