MILWAUKEE — Flannery’s, an Irish pub in Milwaukee for 25 years, will close its doors at the end of this month.
According to our partners at OnMilwaukee, the pub will officially announce its “last call” at the close of service on Sunday, January 29th. Steve Smith opened the bar at 425 E. Wells St. in September 1997.
The building was recently purchased by JT Wells Milwaukee LLC., “Taylors”. According to Flannery’s, they have new plans for the location in the coming months.
OnMilwaukee reported that staff were notified of the closure last week. Some will be transferred to the Flannery’s Grafton location within the Fire Ridge Golf Club.
