Fox’s wilderness trip cut short: Apple TV+ canceled mosquito coast Two seasons later, according to our sister site Deadline.
mosquito coast Justin Theroux stars as Ellie Fox, an inventor who lives an isolated life with his wife, Margot, and their two teenage children. In season 1, Ellie takes her family on the run and becomes entangled with a Mexican drug cartel south of the border. Season 2 finds the foxes retreating into the jungles of Guatemala to live with a group of refugees. Melissa George co-stars as Margot, Logan Pollan plays daughter Tina, and Gabriel Bateman plays son Charlie.

It debuted in 2021 with a seven-episode nascent season on Apple TV+ and returned for season 2 last November. The 10-episode second season wrapped up earlier this month.
The series is based on the novel by Paul Theroux, which inspired the 1986 film starring Harrison Ford. Theroux told Deadline that a potential third season “will continue into the book itself, as well as the film’s exploration of the utopian community,” with the first two seasons serving as a prologue.
