The governor’s annual business plan competition seeks to help start-up entrepreneurs in the tech space connect with mentors and possible sources of funding.
The deadline to enter this year’s competition is fast approaching – Tuesday evening, January 31st. The Wisconsin Technology Council, the official advisor to the Governor and the Legislature on science and technology issues, hosts the competition.
Council President Tom Steele said the state’s tech sector faced challenges but continued to grow. Still told WUWM’s Chuck Quirmbach that the definition of a tech job is changing.
