Actor Jeremy Renner, who played Hawkeye in Marvel’s “Avengers” film and was injured while shoveling snow, said Saturday that he broke more than 30 bones in the accident.
Renner, 51, was taken to the hospital after being run over by a snowplow used to dig out a car on his northern Nevada property.
“I want to thank everyone for their messages and thoughtfulness. Much love and thanks to all of you. These 30+ fractures will heal,” he tweeted.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Reiner receiving physical therapy in bed.
Renner was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his 2008 film The Hurt Locker, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. Since 2010, he has been nominated for a Supporting Actor for his work in The Town.
He also starred in the Marvel movies as well as two “Mission: Impossible” movies, “Arrival” and “American Hustle.” … Reuters
