Detroit — Two more familiar faces will join the Tigers on TV for the 2023 season.

Cameron Maybin is a three-time Tigers player to retire after the 2021 season, while Todd Jones is the team’s all-time save leader after reaching the World Series in 2006. A member of the team, they have signed on to become analysts for Bally Sports Detroit.

Cameron Maybin (pictured), a three-time Tigers pick, is retiring after the 2021 season, while Todd Jones, the franchise's all-time save leader, reached the World Series in 2006 A member of the team, they have signed on as analysts for Bally Sports Detroit.

Maybin returned to Detroit after a stint on the New York Yankees’ YES broadcast. Since retiring after the 2008 season, Jones has made occasional guest appearances on Bally Sports Detroit broadcasts over the years.

Bally Sports Detroit announced the move Thursday.

The 2023 Tigers TV booth will once again feature on-air broadcaster Matt Sheppard and former Tigers slugger Craig Monroe as lead analysts. Dan Petri will get the second-most jobs and, like Monroe, also serves as a studio host when he’s not in the game booth. Kirk Gibson returned again with a relatively light load, joined by Maybin and Jones.

Hall of Famer Jake Morris, who helped lead the Tigers to the 1984 World Series, will not return in 2023, as The News previously reported. Since 2019, Morris has been a staple of the Tigers TV booth.
