Local choreographers with international collaborations will be featured at the Binge Dance Festival, a performance celebrating black dance.
Presented by the Dow-Dance Company, a piece choreographed by the African diaspora will be staged Friday at the UNO Amphitheater at 7pm
Choreographic residents include Iman Keilah Marshal, Lauren Ashlee Messina and Stephanie Harris. West African collaborators include Dream Key’s Arouna Guindo, Giovanni Dehoue and choreographers Florence Gnarigo and Denise Ishola.
The event is free and will be held in the amphitheater at Alumni Drive on the 2000 Lakeshore Drive campus. Visit down-dance.com for more information.
