LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — Alyn Blunt scored 13 points to help UMass Lowell beat Albany 66-50 on Wednesday night.
Blunt went 3-for-7 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free-throw line for the Riverhawks (18-6, 6-4 ALEA). Cam Morris III scored 12 points on 6-for-6 shooting. Yuri Covington scored nine points on 3-of-8 shooting (1-of-4 from long range).
Gerald Drumgoole Jr. led the Great Dane with 18 points (6-18, 1-8). Albany also had 12 points from Sarju Patel. Da’Kquan Davis also had nine points. The Great Danes extended their losing streak to six.
