Towson took the lead with 18:27 left in the first half and didn’t give up. The score was 37-24 at halftime, with Thompson scoring nine points. Towson mounted an 8-0 second-half run that extended a 13-point lead to 21. They led Monmouth by seven points in the first half, and Conway led by a team-high nine in the second half.
