Singer-songwriter and guitarist David Crosby has passed away.
according to type, His wife released a statement about his death after a long illness.
He was 81 years old.
Crosby was a founding member of two pop-rock groups in the ’60s, Byrds and Crosby and Stills & Nash (later Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young).
Graham Nash posted the following on social media,
“It is with deep sadness that I learn of the passing of my friend David Crosby. I know people tend to focus on how rocky our relationship is at times, but what matters most to David and me is The sheer joy of the music we made together, the sounds we found in each other, and the deep friendship we shared over the years. David was fearless in life and music. In terms of sheer personality, he left a huge void and A talent out of this world. He expressed his mind, his heart and his passion through his beautiful music and left an incredible legacy. Those are the most important things. My heart really goes to With his wife Jane, his son Django, and everyone he touched in this world.”
