Goodlettsville, Tennessee –(Business Wire)–Dollar General (NYSE: DG ) Celebrates the Grand Opening of Its 19,000th Corporateday A community celebration was held today at the store in Joplin, Missouri, with a donation of $19,000 to a local elementary school. Customers also received a free DG gift card, tote bag and product samples.

In keeping with Dollar General’s mission serve othersDollar General donated $19,000 and 100 new books to Royal Heights Elementary School in Joplin to support ongoing literacy and education programs.
