CORPUUS CHRIST, Texas — The Institute of Technology near Saratoga Avenue showed a lot of pride Friday morning.
Elementary students and staff celebrated their 100th day of school.
They all took part in a parade marking the 100th day of school.
Everyone in the parade was dressed as a centenarian, adding a touch of flair to the event.
The kids really enjoyed the fancy dress parade.
“We’re just celebrating, we’re celebrating 100 days of school. We’re celebrating 100 days of school because it’s awesome,” the students said. “We’re celebrating 100 days of things, and we’re doing a lot of fun stuff.”
The school principal said the best part of the event was that all the students are now 100 days smarter than they were on day one.
