Actor-producer Fahadh Faasil has revealed important news about Tamil star Vijay’s most anticipated movie, tentatively titled Thalapathy 67. He confirmed that the film is part of director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe, nicknamed LCU.
“Given the film is in Lokesh’s universe, I might be in it,” Fahadh revealed at a recent press conference in Cochin.The actor is speaking to the media to promote His upcoming production venture Thankam.
Fahadh Faasil to play Amar in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s final film Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan. At the end of the film, Amal abandons his allegiance to the government job as a seasoned spy and goes rogue to avenge his wife’s murder. During the press conference, Fahadh was asked if there would be a standalone film centered around Amar.
“It’s too early to share it. The announcement should come from the producers,” he responded.
Filming for Thalapathy 67 is in full swing. The manufacturer is keeping all the details under wraps so much that they haven’t even officially announced the start of production. Expected this week, the makers may release a trailer that will give people a glimpse of the long-awaited Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film. The film is expected to be released later this year.
Fahadh Faasil has several films in production now. Next, he will appear in director Mari Selvaraj’s Maamannan. He also has Pushpa 2: The Rule, Dhoomam, etc. in various stages of production.
