Milton, FL – Governor Ron DeSantis will hold a press conference Thursday morning in the Florida Panhandle.
The news conference is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. ET in a theater in Milton.
DeSantis is expected to talk about expanding broadband access in rural areas.
This week, DeSantis said creating opportunities for economic growth in rural Florida communities plays an important role in creating lasting economic opportunity for all Floridians. He wants the Legislature to approve $100 million to support broadband initiatives to expand high-speed Internet deployment and access to Florida communities.
