    Support Team: The Northeast Texas Regional Brain Injury Survivors Support Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 3901 Bill Owens Parkway, Longview. This group is for anyone who has suffered a brain injury from a stroke, aneurysm, accident, etc. Families, carers and healthcare professionals are also welcome to attend.     Caregiver Support: The East Texas Alzheimer’s Alliance (ETAA) Paramedic Support Group meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. at Greggton United Methodist Church (access from the fish pond), 1101 Pine Tree Road, Longview. For information, contact Dorothy Horne at (903) 387-0136.

    Support Team: The Longview Parkinson’s Support Group meets every fourth Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall of Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 2105 E. Loop 281, Longview. For information, contact Jim or Hettie Pollock at (903) 736-0033.

    Blood Donors Needed: The Carter BloodCare Donor Center in Longview, located at 3080 N. Eastman Road, Room 112, has been remodeled to better meet the social distancing needs of donors. Hours of operation are Monday-Wednesday and Friday 9am-6pm; Thursday 11am-7pm; Saturday 9:30am-1:30pm. Making an appointment is the best way to reduce waiting time. Donors can complete the questionnaire online at carterbloodcare.org/quickscreen the day of their donation to ensure quick service. For information or to schedule an appointment, call (903) 663-2650.
