“I didn’t plan that,” Lopez said in an interview. Entertainment tonight. “I mean, marry me…We ended up filming it, just like before the pandemic happened. ”

Owen Wilson’s starring role was meant to showcase her musical talents, while Jason Moore’s directing gave Lopez the chance to showcase her performance.
Speaking of her on-screen chemistry with Duhamel, Lopez said, “I’ve been very lucky to have the most amazing leading man who can deliver comedy as well as action and really capture the emotion .”
“We always say, and that’s what Josh said to me when we first called, like, if people don’t believe we’re together, none of this is going to work,” she added.
“It’s one of those things where everything comes together,” Lopez continued. “And then we have this really expensive supporting cast, amazing stars and comedians who support us.”
The upcoming romantic action comedy starring Jennifer Coolidge and Lenny Kravitz launches Jan. 27 on Amazon Prime Video.
