Kate Beckinsale jokes to her lookalike daughter: ‘Draw your own face!’
The 49-year-old actress added that her daughter Lily Mosin is a “better version” of her and said she loves her big eyes, which she thinks Lily learned from her actor dad Michael Sheen .
Kate told the Daily Mail in a chat transcript published on Friday (January 20, 2023): “I do see it. Yeah. Sometimes I’ll send her a text and say, ‘Get yourself s face! “
“She’s like a better version. She has something that I don’t have. She looks like a gorgeous Disney animal—she has big eyes…I think it might be Dad (Michael Sheen) in this It helps a little bit – but she’s a lot like herself.”
Kate gave birth to Lily in 1999 and dated Michael, 53, from 1995 to 2003.
The actress admitted in 2001 that she was “embarrassed” that he never proposed, but said she ultimately felt they were married.
She insists they remain close friends, saying in 2016: “He’s very close family. He’s someone I’ve known since I was 21. I really love him.”
Lily, who will turn 24 at the end of January, is Kate’s only child and is best known for her starring role in the film A Star Can’t Carry Weight alongside Nicolas Cage.

She has since dated Pete Davidson, 29, but the two ended their short-lived relationship in 2019.
