If anyone is rooting for Ohio State to play Georgia in Saturday’s College Football Playoff semifinal, it’s LeBron James.
An avid Buckeyes fan, LeBron shared his excitement after the Lakers’ 47-point performance in a 130-121 victory over the Hawks on his 38th birthday in a postgame interview on Friday.
However, James wasn’t happy when Ohio State kicker Noah Raggles’ game-winning field goal from 50 yards went left.
“WTF is like that,” James tweets.
Buckeyes quarterback CJ Stroud led Ohio State to the Bulldogs’ 31-yard line before the Ruggles missed. In doing so, however, Buckeyes running back Darlan Hayden lost a yard on the run before Stroud threw two uncompletioned passes for Ragger. Adams’ goal.
Ohio State (11-2) finished the season with a 42-41 loss, while the Bulldogs (14-0) play the College Football Playoff at Sophie Stadium in Inglewood on Jan. 9 Facing TCU (13-1), California State in the national title game.
