Rita said on Instagram: “Tom and I spent some time with the family on the ‘Elvis’ film tour.
“Lisa Marie is so honest and direct and vulnerable and in a state of anticipation for this film. She talks so eloquently about her father and what this film means to her, it’s a celebration of her father.
“She had her beautiful daughters Finley and Harper which made us all laugh. She showed us her home, Graceland, privately and she made it feel like home. She was so kind to us, Austin, Buzz and the guests All very kind.
“If you haven’t heard her music, please do. She has a sultry voice, a strength and a tenderness that I’ve always loved.
“Our hearts and our prayers are with Riley, Harper, Finley, Danny and Priscilla. A mother should never lose a child. Lisa Marie lost her precious son Benjamin, Priscilla Sira lost her only daughter. So much. Sending love to the family and prayers for peace and strength. Love, Rita and Tom. (sic)”
