TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) – A man is facing charges in connection with the alleged shooting at a medical facility in Tucson on Tuesday, January 17.
Police were called to the facility in the 2800 block of East End Street in response to reports that a man walked into the lobby and fired a single shot with a shotgun.
An employee at the facility called 911, described the suspect and told them he had driven away.
Officers secured the area and launched a massive search using helicopters and K9 units, while detectives obtained a description of the suspect’s vehicle.
Detectives spotted the vehicle traveling through the city on Friday, Jan. 20, and parked it near North Tucson Avenue and East Princes Road.
Police located the driver, Arthur John Bodnar, 33. After disposing of the vehicle, authorities charged Bordner with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, opening fire within city limits and possession of a firearm is prohibited.
He is in the Pima County Jail.
