Kalib Matthews finished 6-of-9 from the field (2-of-5 from 3-point range) and 2-of-3 from the free throw line for 16 points and had four steals. BJ McLaurin finished 3-of-9 from the field (2-of-5 from 3-point range), 14 points on 6-of-7 from the free throw line and had nine rebounds.
Andre Weir led the Hawks (14-8, 4-5) with 22 points. Isaiah Thompson added 20 points for FGCU. Zach Anderson had 19 points, 12 rebounds and two steals.
