Hoover, Alabama (WBRC) — The folks at Hoover may get a new bowling and recreation center.
There is discussion now on the possibility of bringing the 810 billiards and bowling alley to the old Whole Foods on Hwy 31. This may be the first 810 billiard and bowling alley in Alabama.
The franchise, which already exists in places like Myrtle Beach, Houston and Phoenix, offers more than just bowling lanes and pool tables.
The company also has table tennis or shuffleboard and a sports bar restaurant.
I contacted the City of Hoover to find out when this business could move in.
“The City of Hoover welcomes venues like 810 Billiards & Bowling as we continue to seek to increase entertainment opportunities for residents and visitors. We look forward to future conversations and partnerships.”
We’ll keep you posted as the city and 810 Billiards and Bowling continue to plan.
This development is in addition to signing a lease on the old Sears space at Riverchase Galleria.
