BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — The start of the new year may inspire some to start a new business or company. It can be difficult to determine where to start.
First News spoke to local marketing and advertising agency PALO Creative to get tips for new entrepreneurs and get advice on how to succeed in the inflation challenge.
Rob Palowitz, CEO of PALO Creative, says to recognize the needs in the world: Where there is a need, there is a need. Where there is demand, Rob said, you can start a business.
“What problem are you trying to solve? What niche are you trying to pursue? What industry? So you have to really dig into what you’re trying to do,” Palowitz said. “A lot of times people’s hobby turns into a business.”
Creating a strong team of trusted individuals may also add value to the business.
“Resources, funding, how [are] you [going to] Get something out, get your product or service out. Do you have a team? Do you need a team? Can you do it digitally with technology? “
He said the next step was to develop a business plan, including strategy and details.
“You don’t want to waste time. You don’t want to run around trying to get something when you already know it’s not available, so you have to find multiple ways to get your product or your product development, your product manufacturing. You have to have a backup plan ,” Palowitz said.
The biggest keys to making a business successful are grit and integrity, he said.
“You need to get people to buy what you’re selling or want what you’re offering. You need to speak to them in your heart, because at the end of the day, we’re all human,” Palovitz said.
PALO Creative also encourages the use of social media as a platform to promote business.
