Salt Lake City – After a tough first road game against No. 1 Oklahoma State Suna last week, No. 4 Red Rock returns to the Huntsman Center to take on the No. 25 Washington Huskies.

The game was never in doubt, as the Red Rocks were quick to notice that the Huskies weren’t playing. After several season highs, Utah beat the Huntsman Center 197.975-196.350.

Rotation 1: Utah Vault, UW Bars

Unfortunately, the landing was blocked, but Hoffman came with a nice 1.5 and 🎯 landing. 9.950 effort.nice rotation started #RedRocks pic.twitter.com/Uktp5SP0yd

    Utah Vault: 49.425

    Jaline Gilstep: 9.850

    Abby Brenner: 9.850

    Makena Smith: 9.900

    Jedan Rook: 9.875

    Grace McCallum: 9.850

    Gillian Hoffman: 9.950

    Your bar: 49,000

    Daya Moody: 9.800

    Taylor Russen: 9.800

    Olivia Oppegard: 9,700

    Breonna Brooks: 9.800

    Lily Tubbs: 9.700

    Skylar Killough-Wilhelm: 9.900

    summarize

The Red Rocks got off to a good start after the first round, leading the Huskies 49.425-49.000. The highlight of the vault was Jillian Hoffman’s stuck 1.5. This is the first time she has competed in the vault since returning from injury last season.

Rotation Two: Utah Bar, UW Vault

Score is too low today. One judge gave Grace McCallum’s bar routine a 10 and another a 9.900. She’s like a 3rd or 4th routine with a big difference in scoring. #Utes

    Total score: 98.975

    Emily Morgan: 9.850

    Makena Smith: 9.825

    Abby Brenner: 9.850

    Mel O’Keeffe: 9.950

    Crystal One: 9.850

    Grace McCallum: 9.950

    summarize

Another great performance from the Red Rocks’ second-round rotation, with Mel O’Keeffe and Grace McCallum being the stars of the show. There is a pattern today where there are extreme differences in how routines are scored today. Utah has about three or four routines so far with a one-tenth difference between referees, which is a lot. For example, one judge gave McCallum a 10 and another a 9.900.

Rotation 3: Utah Beam, UW Floor

    Crowd wanted a 10 for O’Keefe but had to settle for a 9.975. Absolutely amazing effort once again.#GoUtes #BeamTeam #believe pic.twitter.com/S0ikIzmBDo

    Utah Beams: 49.625

    Emily Morgan: 9.825

    Grace McCallum: 9.900

    Abby Paulson: 9.900

    Add Eaker: 9.900

    Crystal One: 9.950

    Mel O’Keeffe: 9.975

    Your floor: 49,200

    Total score: 147.300

    Emily Innes: 9.800

    Hadley Roberts: 9.800

    Skylar Kilo-William: 9.850

    Lana Navarro: 9,850

    Amara Cunningham: 9.875

    Thursday Nguyen: 9.825

    summarize

Another nifty effort, even with some unusual bugs from Red Rocks. Maile O’Keefe and Cristal Isa round out the rotation perfectly. Utah entered the fourth with a very comfortable lead.

Final Spins: UW Beam, Utah Floor

    Final score: 196.350

    Breonna Brooks: 9.800

    Taylor Russen: 9.325

    Daya Moody: 9.800

    Lana Navarro: 9,900

    Kennedy Davis: 9.875

    Skylar Killough-Wilhelm: 9.675

    Utah Floor: 49.475

    Final score: 197.975

    Abby Paulson: 9.850

    Jaline Gilstep: 9.875

    Abby Brenner: 9.875

    Makena Smith: 9.800

    Jedan Rook: 9.925

    Grace McCallum: 9.950

    summarize

The best rotation the Red Rocks could have had all season. Rucker and McCallum finished with high scores and the energy continued to build.
