The Minnesota Twins are making another move, trading center fielder Michael A. Taylor to the Kansas City Royals.
ESPN’s Jeff Passan will cover the trade on Monday night. Dan Hayes of The Athletic is reporting The Twins sent Kansas minor league pitchers Evan Sisk and Steven Cruz.
Taylor, 31, who has spent most of his career with the Washington Nationals, won the World Series in 2019 against the Houston Astros and hit a home run in Game 2.
He spent the past two seasons with Kansas and hit . 254 with 414 at-bats last season with 43 RBI and nine home runs. He also won a Golden Glove in 2021.

He will be the second deal the Twins have made since they signed Carlos Correa to a six-year deal. Last week, the Twins traded AL hitting champion Luis Arraez to the Miami Marlins for starting pitcher Pablo Lopez and two rookies.
They also added outfielder Joey Gallo to the lineup in free agency. The addition of Gallo and now Taylor would increase the likelihood of the Twins trading Max Kepler.
