The coming end of February is the annual Strawberry Festival! With admission at just $6 per person and free for kids two and under, the festival has a lot to offer its audience.
Activities are not limited to strawberries, there are many other activities for everyone to enjoy! As you stroll through the park filled with fresh Florida strawberries, you’ll find plenty to indulge in such as strawberry shortcake, strawberry fudge, strawberry lemonade, ice cream, hot dogs and other delicious treats.
Petting farms throughout the park also have a variety of animals for the kids to enjoy. Kids can also enjoy arts and crafts, bounce house, sack races, pony rides, face painting and petroglyphs.
When the kids aren’t playing, adults can enjoy free cornhole and live entertainment from Elvis tribute artist Jeff Creek. In addition, there are pie-eating competitions, hula-hoop competitions, and strawberry relay competitions that anyone can participate in.
In addition to the entertainment, the car show will also be held during the festival. In addition to being free to enter the Strawberry Festival, all classic cars and trucks can enter the event for a $10 fee. The winner will receive a certificate containing $50 in Strawberry Coins to spend at the festival, and the runner-up will receive a certificate containing $25 to spend at the festival.
In addition to other contests held throughout the park, you can also enroll your baby in the Berry Berry Contest for free! Prizes for the winner include a $25 Berry Coin, a Kohl’s Cares stuffed animal, a certificate, and most importantly, bragging rights! The runner-up of the competition will receive a Kohl’s Cares plush toy and certificate. Boys and girls up to 24 months old are welcome to enter these prizes!
