British star Phoebe Waller-bridge is developing a series based on the smash hit video game tomb Raider For Amazon.
The new project will be the latest adaptation of the hit video game following the big-screen version starring Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander.
According to US news media hollywood reporterWaller-Bridge will write the script for the show, which stems from her recently renewed overall deal with the retail giant and streaming service.

However, the actor and writer is best known for his work on several award-winning British series flea bagwill not appear on the show.
Jolie was the first actor to play the adventurous archaeologist Laura in the 2001 film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and its 2003 sequel Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – Cradle of Life.
The franchise was later rebooted, with Vikander playing Croft in the 2018 film tomb RaiderA sequel was in development but was canceled in July 2022 after MGM lost the franchise.
Actors Camilla Luddington, Keeley Hawes, and Minnie Driver also voice the protagonists in a series of video games. However, Hayley Atwell brings the character to life in the Netflix animated series.
