Lassina Traore scored 19 points in Long Beach State’s 70-52 win over Cal Poly on Thursday.
Traore also had 15 rebounds for the Beaches (11-10, 5-4 Big West). AJ George made 5 of 9 shots and 12 points on 2 of 5 free throws. Tone Hunter scored 12 points on 5-for-12 shooting from the field.
Brantley Stevenson had 13 points and four steals for the Broncos (7-14, 1-8). Cal Poly also got nine points from Kobe Sanders. Trevan Taylor also had 8 points and 11 rebounds. The loss was the Broncos’ eighth straight win.
