KOLOA, HAWAII – In Hawaiian Eye 2023’s Healio video perspective, Audrey R. Talley Rostov, M.D., Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery in complex cases is discussed.
“You can take some of the stress out of these very complex cases by using the tools at your disposal,” she said.
For example, in the case of white cataracts, Scheimpflug imaging, or OCT imaging, can help determine the density of the cataract, and FLACS technology can be used to “remove your concerns,” she said.
