Metaverse Entertainment, a subsidiary of South Korean mobile game developer Netmarble, has announced the debut date for up-and-coming virtual meta girl group MAVE:.
The entertainment company announced MAVE on social media earlier this month: their debut single “Pandora’s Box” will be released on January 25. Their debut album will include title songs “Pandora” and “Wonderland (Idypia)”. With this, MAVE: is the first girl group to debut in 2023.
Metaverse Entertainment later revealed that the quartet would be made up of surreal AI (artificial intelligence)-generated members, introducing the girl group members — MARTY:, TYRA:, ZENA: and Xiao: — through group photos and “concept cards.”
