Go Ye Village has named Paula Young as the new health care administrator for the licensed nursing community.
Young will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Village Assisted Living and Wellness Center (nursing home).
She has over 10 years of healthcare management experience and 33 years of experience in the healthcare and long-term care industries. Young is licensed as an Oklahoma nursing home administrator and has completed residency at hospitals and long-term care clinics across the state, including Parkview Hospital in El Reno, Clinton Indian Hospital in Clinton, Highland Park Nursing Home in Clinton and Cherokee The tribal complex of the country Tahlequah.

Young owns and directs the operations of the Young Foot and Medical Clinic in Tahlequah and will continue her clinic duties.
She has a BS in Allied Health Administration/Gerontology with minors in Business Administration/Statistics and Chemistry from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Young is a member of the Indian Capital Technology Advisory Board of Directors, Cherokee Country CASA Board of Directors and Northeastern Health System Healthcare Council. She has previously served as an advisor to the Tahlequah Community Advisory Council, a member of the Tahlequah Freemasons, the Eastern Star Chapter of the Freemasonry Chapter, and a member of the Council of Elders and Deacons.
